Managing chats
Find, organize, and manage your conversations in the Chats sidebar.
The Chats sidebar provides a central view of all your conversations, both standalone chats and project chats. Project chats are visually grouped under their project name, making it easy to distinguish them from standalone conversations.
Finding chats
Use the search field at the top of the sidebar to find past conversations by keyword.
Filtering chats
Filter the chat list to narrow down your conversations:
- By type: Show all chats, only standalone chats, or only product chats.
- By project: Select a specific project to see only its chats.
Moving chats to a project
You can move a standalone chat into a project to give it access to the project's files and instructions. This is useful when a conversation evolves from an ad-hoc question into sustained work that belongs in a project.

Deleting chats
Delete a chat from the sidebar when you no longer need it. Deleted chats cannot be recovered.
Deleting a project chat removes it from the project. The project itself and its files are not affected.
